Started in Phoenix. Fifteen years of making complicated things clear.
Digital Forge Media began in 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona, when Roy Pena and Kawika Banis started working together documenting data center construction for eBay and PayPal. The real job was translation: taking what engineers and architects were building and turning it into video anyone could understand.
That early work with DPR Construction led to more general contractors, including Whiting Turner and JE Dunn, across data center builds nationwide. The team grew into graphics, animation, and live streamed town halls along the way, but stayed small on purpose. The people you meet on the first call are the people on set.
Fourteen years in, the job hasn't changed: take something complicated and make it plain. The best part hasn't changed either. It's still filming people who genuinely care about the work they do, and telling that story well.
We show up to a live job site or a boardroom shoot the same way — briefed, cleared, and ready before the crew arrives.
A single great video is a nice moment. A system that keeps producing is what actually moves a brand forward.
No pitch decks, no hard sells. We tell you plainly if we're the right fit for what you're building.
